The SANY SY18U Mini Excavator weighs 4,244 lbs, digs to 8’6″, and runs on an 18.2 net horsepower Yanmar engine with 3,732 lbf of bucket breakout force. Zero tail swing and a swing boom let the SY18U dig tight against a foundation wall, fence, or outbuilding without the arm or counterweight reaching the structure. Septic repairs, utility trenches, small demolition, and hobby farm work all fall inside this size.

Extendable tracks narrow the SY18U Mini Excavator to a 3’3″ transport width for gates and side yards, then extend to 4’5″ for stability while digging. The extendable backfill blade handles backfilling, and the auxiliary circuit powers thumbs, augers, and breakers. A TOPS/FOPS certified canopy covers the operator seat.
